This specialist Veterinary DITI training is only offered exclusively to associates purchasing, leasing or renting one of our systems. The type of training we provide is the most complete international DITI training available. We will guide you through the technical application of veterinary DITI and you will work with the most cutting edge, innovative equipment & interpretation system in the veterinary & medical thermal imaging field. We will provide you with on-going comprehensive training and support, combining lectures, self-study and practical training to each and every individual. You will work closely with our veterinary physicians and complete your qualification over a period of two months depending on previous experience.

The ACCT provides three levels within the qualification and we will take you to Veterinary Thermographer Level II (CT-II). Here is an outline of what is included in our programThermographer Training

Our certification programs are designed to provide focused competence training with an emphasis on the following:

Veterinary Application both Equine and Canine:
Veterinary application and use of infrared thermographic Vet2000 systems, animal handling and stress testing, Aftercare systems and veterinary servers.

Imaging Proficiency:
Hands-on proficiency in performing high quality thermal imaging studies, adaptation and preparing data for interpretation. Our modules will also include specialist region imaging, cold stressing & stress testing.

Biomechanics of the Equine:
Understanding your subject! We will take you through the Biomechanics of the equine and what we are looking for whilst stress testing. Anatomy & physiology will play a huge part in your learning so we will teach accordingly to your level of knowledge. The program will also take you through the importance of understanding different disciplines. Our Aftercare specialist and training rehabilitation practitioner will guide you through everything you need to know.

Medicolegal and HIPPA Compliance:
Essential medicolegal and HIPPA-related issues in clinical thermography along with veterinary standards of practice.

Thermography Practice Standards:
Optimizing communication of veterinary information to clients and veterinary professionals and your team of EMI physicians. This includes standards of care, professionalism and ethics in the practice of veterinary thermography.

Practice Development:
Practice development, including educational and marketing support materials, development strategies and networking.

ACCT & Support Resources:
Utilization of ACCT professional support resources along with the new AMTS (American Medical Thermology Society) and UK Thermography Society

Following successful completion you will be awarded with a Level Two diploma in Veterinary DITI and you will become an accredited member of the ACCT (American College of Clinical Thermography) & BCVT (British College of Veterinary Thermography). You will also have completed the training necessary to be able to register with the Medical and Veterinary Division of UK Thermographic Association and the European Association of Thermology if you wish.

As well as comprehensive training in the clinical application of Thermography, animal handling, record keeping, report preparation and all necessary legislation, you will also have on-going, dedicated support from the Equiscan & Meditherm team.

Course criteria:
You will need to be competent working with equines and have a good rounded knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You will preferably already hold qualifications that will support you throughout your training.

Location:
We have training facilities in Cheshire & Shropshire and this is where the main section of our course is held. This course will be held over modules and we can go at your pace. 

This course is only suitable for candidates that are
Purchasing or leasing a Meditherm Vet2000 system.
