Veterinary DITI Foundation Course

Our veterinary DITI foundation certificate has been developed due to high demand.  Our program will provide you with a deep understanding of DITI and how to use results in clinical evaluation. It is also a perfect stepping stone to see if a career in Veterinary DITI is right for you without heavy investment into equipment.

Our foundation programs are designed to provide focused competence training with an emphasis on the following:

Veterinary & Medical Application of DITI:
Introduction to Equiscan and use of infrared thermographic Vet2000 systems and how they relate to veterinary & human medicine.

DITI Physics and Physiology:
Introduction to the Physics and Physiology behind DITI.

Introduction to Imaging Proficiency:
Hands-on proficiency in how we perform high quality thermal imaging studies and adaptation. You will also have hands on experience and work with the Vet2000 system & our WinTES 2 software.

Biomechanics of the Equine:
Understanding your subject. We will take you through the Biomechanics of the equine and what we are looking for whilst stress testing. This is a valuable section for practitioners receiving DITI results from us. Our Aftercare specialist and training rehabilitation practitioner will guide you through everything you need to know.

Thermography Practice Standards:
Optimizing communication of veterinary information to clients and veterinary professionals and our team of EMI physicians; including standards of care, professionalism and ethics in the practice of veterinary thermography.

Interpretation:
Interpretation session with Dr Peter Leando. We will take you through the process of interpretation and report writing and how our vets produce clinical results.
 

Course Criteria:
You do not need any veterinary experience to join the course and it is a perfect opportunity to learn more about DITI and your future opportunities. This training course is suitable for candidates who would like to learn more about DITI and have the knowledge to apply it in their application of expertise.
