Computerised Spatial Derivatives

This software program is able to enhance thermograms in order to provide clear data for our Board Certified Thermologists/ Vets. Reports can include thermograms, vascular enhancements, spatial derivatives and 3D maps depending on the results of the screening. All this software helps our team to provide extremely objective results to assist in your treatment plan. These in-depth results will be forwarded to your vet for further evaluation and statistical analysis will be provided.

HD Vascular Enhancements

The software shows us high definition vascular enhancements which makes blood vessels prominent and provides clear vascular abnormalities that may be related to the area in question.

Computerised spatial derivative (CPD) provides us with an image similar to Doppler ultrasound. It gives us a 3D derivative of the subject’s patterns. CPD takes the thermal patterns and applies a 1st derivative which gives us a shadow over any abnormal areas. Vascular abnormalities can be seen as shadowed areas and is a very important part of analysis.

3D Contour Maps are also used during interpretation. Graphical 3D maps help us to spot localizations and decipher the clinical significance of temperature differentials.
